Been almost 30 days since I ordered stacked halos from this clown. Won't answer phone or email. He did answer once to say it must have been sent to the wrong address and would send again using fedex. After some research on this clown I find this is a reoccuring excuse he uses..He did take my money the 2nd day it was ordered, but not a sound from him since. I now have Paypal on this.

Well he gets a "5" of "5" on Eham! Just goes to show sometimes you can't trust reviews.

Reviews Summary for KU4AB SQ-144HV
Reviews: 5 Average rating: 5.0/5 MSRP: $54.95
Description: Square omni-directional loop and vertical antenna with a single feedpoint. the SQ-144HV gives both horizontal and vertical performance across the entire 2meter band. Now your allmode can run just one antenna for FM or SSB on 2 meters

Paid this thief for a Squalo for 6M and a stacking harness. He cashed my check - and that was that. Won't answer phone calls or email. The guy is just an outright thief - no other word for it. He gets a "5" on eham because, if you ever get a product from him, it may be good....and eHam won't allow "feedback" in their product reviews. Stay clear of this guy. If you feel compelled to try and buy something, use a credit card, then get their phone number handy for when you file a dispute.

I bought two of his 6m loops, a 2 meter stack and a 440 stack. Back in 2007 The guy ship them promptly, the price was extremely reasonable and the quality of the product was very well built. I used the 2 meter and 440 Stacks mobile for several years before setting them up as a mobile Rover setup during the VHF UHF contest. Emailed the guy several times and he was prompt to get back to me. Called him a couple of times and he was very helpful. I don't know why it guys are complaining period hard to complain when there's nothing to complain about. It's now March of 2018. One of the 6 meter Loops is up about 40 ft in the air at my home station and the other 6-meter loop along with the 2 meter and 440 stack loops are used as a Rover setup / portable set up. When the bands are open they work great. The 6 meter Loop works good mobile. Nice and rugged. I've often thought about getting his 10 meter Square Loop but the band just aren't good enough to Warrant buying anything.

Don't know why you're busy complaining, there's nothing to complain about.

In 2009 I bought the KU4AB SQ-50 square loop, the KU4AB SQ-144 stacked square loops and the KU4AB SQ-432 stacked square loops for VHF / UHF rover operations. I was and still am very pleased with Phil’s (KU4AB) customer service and the build quality of his loop antennas. At a hight of 13’, the performance is like a V12 Ferrari. When Im driving I have the antennas mounted at 8’. At 8’ they still perform like a V12 Ferrari. I have no issues or worries with the 6 meter loop while driving at 65mph. The 6 meter loop at just 13’ out performs an MFJ 3 element beam up at 25’.

In 2010 I bought the exact same KU4AB loops / stack loops that Im using for rover operations, and duplicated my rover antenna set up at the home QTH in Spring Tx EM20hb. I have the top loop (6m) at 35’. My farthest 6 meter grid to confirm is St Lucia FK93, 2,460 miles away, with just 75 watts.

In 2011 I bought a third set of 2m and 432 mHz KU4AB stacked square loops and mounted them on the mobile about 7.5’ high. Again they work like a champ and twice on Sundays. At the time, the Houston Tx area had a decent size group that was active daily on 2m and 432 side band. Some of the hams in the group lived in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Beaumont, Huntsville. Most of which were running a several element 2 meter beam on a tower. Me and my KU4AB stacked square loops, being mobile was for sure the “little guy” on frequency, but I was usually able to hold my own.

My rover set up as well as my home QTH set up with the KU4AB antennas works just as good today as it did when I first bought them in 2009 - 2010.

I never once had issues with KU4AB’s web site, Phil’s customer service or the quality of his loops. Phil always responded quickly to e mails and his shipping was fast with no issues. I think a lot of people have a small 1 lb fish issue but complain about it as though it was a big 12 lb fish issue, if you know what I mean.
