I just obtained a Siltronix 1011C, it has been modified to transmit on 11 meters. I know very little about this rig, I couldn't find too much info on the web. What's it worth and what is the out put supposed to be? TNX.The rig will trans mit on 11 meters, my watt meter is showing 60 watts in the tune position.

Hi,
I just worked on a Siltronix 1011c. They were made by Swan and look just like a swan 350!
On the Siltronix, they are rated at 60 watts INPUT to the finals in AM so out put is on the order of around 50 watts. A lot of CB'ers though tend to load them up to around 90 watts. But I wouldn't recommend it.
On SSB you can expect at least 150 watts. Some will even do more.
As a ham operator I ran a Swan 350 and later a Swan 500 and both were great rigs. I ran an Astatic D104 mic with it and it drove it nicely but I had to install .01 pfd caps across the audio input in the mic to avoid rf feedback, which is a common problem when using a D104.
