In other words, if they were presented with this task:
"Write a random number."
They would be too lazy to do so.
The whole point of buying and selling is for the seller to offer an item at a price, the buyer to counteroffer with a lower price, the seller to re-offer somewhere inbetween the original and counteroffer price, and so on, until a suitable compromise has been found. What something is "worth" in the used market is not a function of empircal science other than that auctions either go up in price or stay the same if there is a single bidder. Sales usually go down in price, or stay the same, less often.

I thought the reason was perfectly clear when used in that matter. What don't you understand about the words, "Make Offer"?

If "make offer" is not part of a sentence along the lines of "$300 or make offer", I understand perfectly what that means (see my previous post). Do you?
