Tec question FT 100D

Have an FT 100D bought used. Works FB on HF and transmit on VHF but NO RECEIVE.
I have been through the manual several times, looking at the settings....unable to find anything. May be the receiver section on VHF bad. Any ideals anyone?

Reset the computer...

If you have not alredy done so, reset the computer. The procedure is in the back of the manual.

Also, be sure your squelch control is in the "open" position when testing for receive.
