had a possible buyer ask me to ship a $550 rig ups cod to the slovak republic.
last time i checked ups does not verify any instrument they are presented.
they simply ship out whatever the reciever of the package hands them as payment.
i assume nothing has changed as ups seems to have some sort of program(at an additional cost)to deal with this.
seems like something else to beware of.

Don't have an answer for you, but I think I would ask the Buyer to send you the funds first and then ship the item. With all the internet and other fraud these days, it is getting harder and harder to tell which avenue to follow in such a transaction. I prefer money in hand (and verify the document you have is valid) before an individual should ship. GL!
