help me out on this one

Post by w8jn »

from time to time i see an ad that brags, this rig puts out a solid 300 watts (however its rated for 200 watts). now what is the seller thinking.... i am going to open my rig up , change the factory alc and "crank the crap outta the thing" and run it 33% past its factory rating. am i supposed to want to buy a piece of equipment that some moron abused? help me out here. i am missing something?

My questions would be:

What equipment is he using to measure the output?

When was it last calibrated and by whom?

Does he know how to use his test equipment?
