Icom 910 h or yaesu ft847 The better of the 2 radio?????

I am going to the ham radio outlet to buy one of the 2 radio's and want to get input on the 2 please icom ic910h or yaesu ft 847????

I don't know anything about the ic910h, but I can tell you that everybody that I have talked to that owns an FT-847 seems to really like that radio.

Nice to hear you on sats the other day. I had a FT847 for 3 days. It is a piece of junk. Can't imagine that the Icom 910 would be worse than it is. Get the 910, plus you have the option of adding 1296 mhz to it, and it runs serious power.

I have used an 847 for about two and a half years and it has done what i wanted it to do. I operate mobile with the atas100 antenna and long wires. I have talked when others were not able to. Bob, W3RF

hi there; i have them both, they are both very good radios, the 910h is a nice for working satellites and to recv 2meters and 70cm at the same time. the 910 has some nice bells and whistles. as for the 847 again very nice radio works great on all bands ( i dont have my ticket for hf yet), as a satelllite radio i perfer the 910h over the 847 have fun
