Personally, I will rarely look at an ad that has no picture attached. Also, a la ebay stuff, I find it unbelievable someone would say they do not know how to test an item so will always sell 'as is'. Just mho.

There are many pawn shops who sell ham gear on Ebay. They never test anything. You're buying a "pig in a poke" from them.

Hey...here's a hint...if you're going to include a photo...please make sure it's in focus. Do you really think someone is going to put down some hard cash for a piece of equipment, that you say works great and is in perfect condition...but you didn't take the time to be sure the photo was in focus? Really, it's poor practice and shows no respect for your equipment...

Each time I bought gear that had poor photos, the gear arrived with scratches and dents that the photo conveniently didn't show! Also...if you ask for a photo and get the old "my digital camera is broken"..PASS!!
I bought a "Nice condition" D-104 that arrived looking like the wreck of the Hesperus! When I sent back photos of the wreck...I was accused of sending photos of a different mic! Never again to that drone!!

I bought a "mint" FT-1000D from a popular seller on this site. I requested pictures and got them. What he didn't tell me was that the scratches and gouges were covered with shoe polish!
