ICOM -451A

I recently purchased a ICOM-451A 70CM transceiver to use in the 430 - 440 SSB/CW portion of the band. I discovered that the unit had been modified to work in the 440 - 450 segment of the 70CM band.
Does anyone have any information on how it was modified? I would like to change it back to the original part of the band.
