KA4TUE update

Has anybody dealt with KA4TUE? I got a nice phone call on a piece of equipment I want to buy from him. Tried to check feedback.Nothing. Then started reading all the bad stories on deals that gone bad,good ones to. But the bad ones stuck in my mind more. I see he has a few adds on here.So did anybody buy from him ?

For the record, I do not personally know KA4TUE. However, I can say that I have spoken with him and have reason to believe him to be honest. I wanted to buy a piece of high end equipment from him and we arranged a "deal." Then, he got seller's remorse and backed out of the deal. He was quick to tell me so that I didn't make plans (I was going to drive half way to his location for payment/pick-up). It cost me nothing in time, energy, or cash. There were no hard feelings and I even asked that if he changed his mind again that he give me a call. We left it at that. Before the "deal" I made a few inquiries since I have friends in his immediate area. It is near my old stomping grounds and there were no negatives. A good general rule is that there is a lot of BAD news. If there is no news, it's probably good.

Tuesday, KA4TUE is a good guy and very honest. He is great to deal with and prices his equipment very reasonably. Would trust him like my brother!! K3VW

I have known ka4tue/Rick and his family for several years and I have always known him to be a fine christian man with strong family and moral values. I would trust him in any kind of dealings and would certainly refer him to any ham looking for any type of ham equipment that he might have at that time. I can assure you that if any part of a business or hobby deal were to not be as agreed on it would be something that he had no previous knowledge about and had no way of predicting and would not stop short of anything he could do to make things right. i and my family, are proud to have rick and his family as friends.
