I sold a Kenwood TS-870on E-Bay thru paypal used by the buyer of the radio. I was informed by paypay I would have to ship, at My exspence, to the buyer. I did, Then i was told i Would have to wait 2 weeks for payment. Two weeks later I am told they will only rekease $500.00 per month starting in two weeks from today. WHAT>>>>That means it will take 3 MONTHS FOR THE RADIO TO PAID FOR.. Anyone ever here anything like this??? Larry N3MXF

Yeah, I heard it before. I read the PlayPal Rules and Regulations, especially those applicable to receiving payments.

Yep,

Read the agreement. IF you VERIFY your account you can wthdraw all the funds at once. Paypal wants back up funding so they can protect buyers from the all too common dishonorable seller. In the event of a mis-repped or outright fraudulent deal Paypal issues a refund. It is all too easy for a bad dealer to clean up the funds and take off leaving Paypal alone to fund the refund. It is only fair for Paypal to limit their exposure especially with the fraud that is rampant amongst internet sales.
