Wording of classified ads

I have to laugh when I see how some people word their classified ads. One would think they were being charged per word and have to abbreviate everything. How fast do you think you would sell a car by placing an ad such as.."Car for sale..$2000.00" Ofcourse this is a slight exaggeration, but the point is made. Also there are those who use expressions like.."needs repaired" or "needs painted". How about "needs TO BE repaired" or "needs TO BE painted"? All of this is of little consequence. I just find it annoying. [/b]
